About The Owner
Ron Heidler, Jr. or RJ as he is affectionately called is a third generation construction professional. Ron's grandfather, Joe Heidler, started J. V. Heidler Roofing Company in 1959 the year Ron was born. Ron Heidler, Sr. after working at Heidler Roofing for 10 years, embarked on opening his own roofing company named Professional Roofing Services, Inc. or PRS in 1989. It
should be noted that R. E. Heidler Construction, LLC is not affiliated with
Heidler Roofing.
RJ left a position as Sales Manager with Turbon Products, the world's largest manufacturer of generic printer ribbon and toner cartridges, to join PRS in 1991. While serving as vice-president of operations PRS experienced steady growth throughout the 90's and early 2000's eventually generating annual revenues between 4 - 5 million dollars and employing up to 45 field employees. In 2003 PRS downsized and reorganized under the name York Exterior Services, LLC specializing in residential exterior remodeling with a strong focus on roofing, siding, replacement windows and doors.
Upon retirement of his father from the business in 2012, RJ decided it was time to start his own company which he named
R. E. Heidler Construction, LLC to better represent the diversified array of construction services provided (hence the slogan: Heidler... All Around The House). In addition to exterior remodeling, R. E. Heidler Construction is also experienced in garage and room additions as well as whole house remodeling.
On a personal note Ron is single with no children if you don't count the ever present Rottweiler or two. Ron trains and breeds Rotties in his spare time, even his vanity license plate reads ROTS RUL . Ron's current four legged companion is 9-yr. old Luc a 135 lb. loveable, but stubborn, black bear lookalike who Ron rescued. Ron enjoys spending time with family and friends and helping those less fortunate. Ron has been involved in various capacities with Easter Seals, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, March of Dimes, Shadow Fax, The United Way, and Big Brothers.
Ron's philosophy on life and business is simple - Do unto others as you would have them do unto you (The Golden Rule).
